Diego H. Fridman is a physician with expertise in clinical and epidemiological research. He is Director of the Clinical Research Department at Fundación Centro de Estudios Infectológicos (FUNCEI) in Argentina, Professor in charge of Medical Geology at Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, Universidad de Buenos Aires and co-Director of the Medical Geology Research Program at IGEBA institute.
He also serves as Scientific Coordinator of the Committee of Ethics in Clinical Research "Dr. Carlos A Barclay".
He is Secretary of the Argentinean Local Chapter since 2010 and Medical Councilor of the IMGA Executive Committee between 2012 and 2013. He is founder member of the Argentinean Association of Medical Geology.
His research interests focus on public health impacts of mining and infectious diseases.
He constantly receives invitations to speak at international conferences and participate in activities organized by universities in Argentina.
